1. How we collect information

First, we collect information you share with us. If you sign in, TongID provides the email address and account identity needed to keep your session working.

Second, we record limited technical information when you use the site, such as your IP address, browser type and version, and the pages you visit. This keeps the site functional and secure.

Quiz answers and result history are stored locally in your browser (using local storage) and are not uploaded. You can play without an account, and clearing your browser data removes this information.

2. Cookies and local storage

We use small data files in your browser to keep the site working: local storage for quiz progress and history, and cookies or equivalent tokens to remember your sign-in session.

If analytics is enabled on the site, Google Analytics may use cookies and similar technologies to collect standard usage data such as page views and events. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking through Google's opt-out tools or your browser settings.

Blocking all cookies may affect how the site works, including signing in.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to provide our services:

• keep your TongID-backed account session working;
• keep the site secure;
• improve the site and understand how visitors use it;
• keep the site safe, prevent fraud, and comply with the law.

We process quiz answers only in ways that do not identify you, for example aggregated statistics.

4. How we share information

We share information only with the providers needed to run the site:

• TongID, which provides authentication for signed-in accounts;
• Google Analytics, which may collect anonymized usage metrics if enabled;
• Cloudflare, which hosts the site and may process standard network data.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone, and we do not share it for third-party advertising. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights or yours, or with your consent.

5. How long we keep information

We use the signed-in identity returned by TongID only while it is needed to operate your session. Quiz progress and history stored in your browser remain until you clear them.

6. Children

Resultype is intended for people who are at least 16 years old or the age of digital consent in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will remove it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

To exercise these rights, contact us from the email address linked to your account so we can verify you.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information: the site is served over HTTPS, data is stored in secure Cloudflare services, and access to personal data is limited to what is needed.

No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please be careful when sharing sensitive information.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time by posting a new version on this page. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last modified.
